How to play

The game world grows up around your location. The further you venture out, the more you discover: trading posts, dragons, deposits – and danger.

    Explore

    The map shows your surroundings – streets, houses, water and green spaces from OpenStreetMap, across all of Germany. Trading posts are safe places with traders, a smithy and a healer. The further you move away from them, the higher the danger level (1 to 10) and the stronger your opponents.

    Catch dragons

    A real challenge: are you skilful and quick enough to catch the dragon when it tries to break free? Tap a dragon and start the catching game: keep the drifting marker inside the circle until you have collected enough catch points. Catching potions make it easier. Caught dragons accompany you – up to three at a time.

    Fight

    Undead, wild animals, bandits and spirits roam the land. In battle you and your active dragon strike together, and your armour absorbs hits. Victories bring copper, wood, herbs and dragon essence – with a little luck, dragons and colossi drop a weapon.

    The guild rewards you

    Traders don’t buy dragons: they send them to the Guild of Dragon Healers, which frees them from Gorevath’s grip. In return you receive shadow thalers. Devoted dragons carry three synergy skills for the colossus fight.

    Gather and forge

    Search deposits of stone, ore and crystals or build mines that dig for you. At the smithy you improve your weapons and armour level by level – the strong pieces devour plenty of resources.

  6. 6

    Defeat the colossi

    Every trading post is guarded by a colossus; now and then the Elementals of the Four Winds appear in a pillar of light. The colossus fight is played in rounds: you see what the colossus is about to do and choose the right synergy skill of your dragons.

  7. 7

    Grow

    Catch and combat points take you up to level 50. In two skill trees you choose your path, and at the Dragon Academy your dragons learn new skills. Daily and weekly tasks, quests from wanderers, rankings and three guilds are waiting for you.

Requirements

  • Android – Android 9 or later recommended, installable from Android 7.
  • A 64-bit device (almost always the case with phones from recent years).
  • Location services (GPS) and an internet connection for the map and your account.
  • There is no iPhone version yet.

Planis Dracoria is in its test phase – phase 1 runs on Android only. You can get the app and an account on request – we’ll then send you everything you need to install it.

Stay safe out there

  • Watch the traffic – put your phone away when crossing the road.
  • Don’t enter private property, building sites or restricted areas, even if a dragon is tempting you.
  • After dark and in unfamiliar surroundings, it’s better to play in pairs.
  • Location tracking uses battery: a power bank helps on longer outings.
